Just try not to move one this one!!!!!!!!

Webmaster Review: The introduction begins with an immediately catchy drum rhythm. This is joined by further complimentary percussion. At the 29 second mark there is a lovely electronic piano house riff which is shortly joined periodically by seriously ravey synth and a hi tom drum. At the 1 minute 12 second mark the rhythm returns making the mix infectiously danceable, we have the hook. At the At the 1.44 mark we have a break in the drums and a succession of atmospheric pads and synths really add something. At the 2:05 mark the main theme returns but with an succession acid bass arpeggio melodies which accompany and compliment main theme hook. The track continues in this way by varying combinations of percussive instruments and synth/piano arrangements. At the 5 minute mark there seems to be the start of the conclusion which is the main theme with happy pad sounds and additional hats etc. There is a crash and a final ending in the form a bass synth, at first accompanied with percussion then solo. My score was 9 out of 10 because although this track is a little long, it is well structured, arranged well and sound fix crashes etc. are used skillfully, and it is the best happy warehouse track I have heard for a long time, this is close to "Go" by Moby.

Sounds like I want to go to mars(lol)

Webmaster Review: The introduction of this track sounds just like the x files with a pulsing techno bassline which filter riffs to the 17-second mark. Following this is a combination of bleeps, ethereal vox and other atmospheric sound effects leading to the main theme, an eerie synth string/pad lead line with main drum pattern, which is a little Vangelis like. The mix continue in this way the 1 minute 20 second mark, at which points most of the instruments drop leaving the x files-like riff playing, preparing the listener for the middle eight which is a new synth lead line which plays at the 1 minute 44 second mark. From the 2 minute 18 second mark to the 2 minute 32 mark the bass filter riffs again, and there is a break on the drums and the return of atmospheric sound effects and vox. A few seconds later the main theme from earlier returns this time leading to a conclusion from the 3 minute mark onwards. The ending on the ethereal vox works very well. My conclusions on this mix is that it is an excellent well structured, mellow, atmospheric sci fi track which would work well both for movie tv score and in a chill out area of a club or field festival. My score is 8 out of 10.

Lots of drums and beats are in this one.

Webmaster Review: The mix begins with a happy lead line and bass drum. This is very shortly joined with percussive tom drum, hi hat and clap accent layers. A catchy dance groove (theme 1) is formed with a guitar sample occasionally enters the mix and there is a snare drum fill which leads to a drop of the hi end percussion leaving a bass, guitar and bass drum arrangement variation. At the 46 second mark, a drum roll introduces a temporary alternative theme (theme 2), a mellow organ lead line, clap and a series of hi hats and hi end percussive sounds. After a few seconds a more foot tapping melody and variation of main theme 1 returns (theme 3) with additional percussion and a rhythmic synth line. After about 15 seconds a snare drum roll announces the return of the mellower theme 2 but this time with guitar lines providing a driving rhythmic edge, and a bass drum and foot tapping percussion ( Latin or tribal sounding ) later joins the mix the time round. At the 1 minute 48 second mark after another well timed snare fill, all driving elements from the drum pattern are removed leaving an organ, clap and other delicate percussion to form a really pleasant relaxing bridge. A drum roll announces a short variation in theme 1 minus the happy lead line initially, with slow increasing levels of percussion. At the 2 minute 50 mark there is a drum roll that announces a solo on the happy lead line from theme 1, which is shortly joined by tom drum percussion and a clap. The concluding finale theme begins with mellow organ from theme 2 with percussion and an atmospheric sound which sounds like frogs. This by the 3 minute 40 mark and a drop roll is replaced by an even more foot tapping version ( extra percussion ) of theme 3 returns. The final conclusion at the 4.24 mark, is a temporary duet on bass drum and lead from theme 3, then various theme 3 arrangements using different combinations of percussion, and the mix finally coming to an end on the lead line and clap. This mix I originally classified as very catchy atmospheric television or computer game music but it seemed to be listening techno but having heard again, the tribal/Latin elements mean it can also be danced to. It has an excellent verse, chorus, bridge structure, very skilful use of fills, and very intelligent and intricate variations. My score has risen from 7 to 8 out of 10. I recommend everyone, regardless of their musical taste, has a listen to it, as it is a very addictive and fun track.

Merry Xmas to all, I hope you get some warm feelings playing this one.

Webmaster Review: This is ambient listening electronica simpler to that you would have on Sky Satellite whilst choosing a channel to watch over the Christmas period. The track introduction is a synth bass which is shortly joined by a succession of synth lines and a full groove of bass drum and percussion including hi-hats. At the 20 second mark another happy "Christmas theme" synth line enters the mix and the mix is actually fairly catchy. At the 55 second mark a synth pad sample introduces a change. This is a bass drum and percussion solo, using a tambourine as an accent, interspersed with atmospheric but mysterious synth lines. At the 1 minute 16 second mark the drums drop for a short whilst, forming an arrangement of just the hi hats and synths. When the drum groove returns now with a snare pattern variation, and shortly after the "Christmas theme" synth line returns to the mix. The successive percussion and synth line variations build towards an excellent conclusion. The finale is very catchy, and the sudden end on the synths with no groove and sound effect works well. I score this mix with 7 out of 10 and I recommend that everyone has a listen as it is very good atmospheric Christmas television program music. It has a very cheery catchy feel towards the end.

Hello, have been trying a long time trying to make this mix whith dance 7, and I love it. hope you enjoy it.

Webmaster Review: Well if this is a first effort it is very good. I score it with 5.5 out of ten. My reasons are that there is an indication of an intelligent astructure and a lot of potential but I feel too many ideas cause this track to sound like a demo as you would get on a musical keyboard, or background music for a film. This is a common first mix trait. There is an excellent phase of music from the 56 sec to the 1:40 mark. This artist has a lot of potential once they realise they can repeat phases of music more if they build in instrumental accompaniments or drum layers over time. Of course this is only my personal opinion and I request my other visitors to listen and add their own comments.

Webmaster Review: The track begins with a mellow Mike Oldfield "Tubular bells" like melody. 3 seconds into the mix, a drum and bass drum pattern enters the mix, shortly followed by a melodic acid-like bass line. Twenty seconds into the mix there is the first drop of the drums, and a new rhythmic melody line, which matches the “tubular bells” like theme joins the mix before the return of the drums. The overall combination is very foot-tapping. After 54 seconds there is a drop of the bass line and a pad string introduces a break or lull in the drums. This break finally arrives at the 1-minute mark. 5 seconds later the drum pattern returns shortly joined by the rhythmic melody and other percussive layers but no bass The listener is led to believe the track is going to go back to main full theme but this is an intelligent illusion because instead at 1 minute 20 the drums drop again and pad is joined with a sweep for about 10 seconds, and then solos for 5 seconds creating a mood of anticipation. The drums re-enter initially with some echo to create further variation. The track then continues with the main drum patterns and themes from earlier with varying arrangements, including the re-introduction of the "tubular bells" like theme. At the 2 minute 44 second mark, respect to the artist dj Rima for using the ability to change drum pitch in the groove generator to simulate what is normally done with clever sample processing and fx units. This pitched typical drum and bass trick is done after a break on the pad. At 2:56 the track concludes on a crescendo of the bass the rhythmic melody and "Tubular bells" like theme, and a final a final solo of the drum break and a well chosen subset of the main theme instruments. My score of the original dance 7 mix (not the mp3) of Traster is 9 out of 10. The track would have got a 10 had the pitch trick on the drums appeared earlier in the mix. Unfortunately at one point the drum loop was too apparent which could have been prevented with pitch tricks. The mp3 demonstrates how a flange effect (often used by drum and bass artists on mastering) can disguise the loop and create the illusion of drum pattern variations too. Additionally it has been used to enhance the existing clever pitch trick in the dance 7 mix. My conclusion is that the track is well structured, and a generally excellent drum and bass track to listen to. I recommend anyone who enjoys mellow drum and bass have a listen.
