The mixes on this page are used with the 5 programme. If any of the mixes contain any samples from the other EJay programmes then you will not be able to hear the full mix unless you have these programmes as well... The mixes are all zipped, because they are faster for you to download. If a mix has any "imported" or "tweeked" samples, they are normally saved into the mix, but it makes the file size much larger. Any message or text that you want to send with your mix will be added as well, unless stated otherwise..

Please note right mouse clicking the download buttons on this page and choosing save as will not work as they are only links to the actual download page in order for downloads to be counted.

The object of this song was to make a 70 - 80 bpm song and it turned out alright I think. hope you all liked it

Webmaster Review: The track has a well organised structure, evident after the 2:48 mark when the solo leads from the 1:32 and 2:22 marks are played together in harmony. There are some pleasant melodys and thoughtful musical arrangements, played over a suitable rhythm. The change of beat temporarily at the 4:22 mark to a syncapated rhythm similar to drum and bass was really imaginitive. The drum rolls are effective to introduce changes. I think this track has promise, particularly for film score music but presentlty the changes are at times not subtle enough and other parts need more variation, a sound effect or crash in the middle of each 4 bar repeat of a lead would break things ups, as loops are more evident at the slow bpm used. Also I would not use the E-Bass instrument as the track is untended to be mellow, the D-Bass instrument would sound great when combined with T Lead 4 for a nice variation. I like your originality and imaginative ideas and so my score is 6 out of 10

Hi Nigel many thanks for replying so fast Here is the info which i would have placed with the Ejay Mix file if i had been able to lol This track is a D and Bass experiment, even tho the tune sounds like it,s going to roll of it,s own axle at times that is what made it real fun to write. Techno 5 comin alive . lol. Many thanks for listening to the tune, hope u Enjoy

Webmaster Review: U Come My way has a very appropiate introduction for the genre. The track has excellent variations throughout progressing and building along a structured theme well.My score is 10 out of 10. It is one of the best mixes on this site ever and I would buy this if it were on sale. The vocals and sound effects are suberb and the vocals are spot on, and later the atmospheric pad string sounds. The conclusion is timed right and works well. There is everything here that makes a great drum and bass track. The production and mixing is spot on too, better than I can do. Everything is nicely equalised and blended.I will have to review this again at some point in more detail as it is such a long mix with so many good details

This is yet another D and Bass track, i think there are some strong elements of traditional D and B in this track, what i mean is... a blend of Old skool , Nu skool, and there is also a sutle vibe of Electro at times, not really sure how that happened, lol Anyway i hope you Enjoy, Ps to all listeners and TJ5 producers i have some Trance,Techno, on its way. Big Up To Nigel for his work behind the scenes . if you wish to drop me a line....about the tracks or somthing else

Webmaster Review: The Introduction is appropriate for genre and the steady build of drums and percussion, is skillfully done. Sound fx are used to announce changes, punchy baselines, and powerful rhythm lead synths make the track very exciting. At 1 minute 20 secs a nice string enters mix making things become very mellow. These strings are accompanied with some great rhythmic lead synth lines and mellow pads. The drums are dropped about right at 2:20and the dreamy female vocal is great. There are lovely rising scale sound effects and intermittent acid riffs, I can hear the old skool coming through clearly. At the 4 minute mark you have a great variation with a new vocal byte and a few different fx and synth sounds. The entire mix is blended, stereo positioned and produced superbly. This is another great example of commercial quality drum and bass. I score this track 10 out of 10.

Hello, after a little break with ejay i have created a new mix with t5. It's a mix of retro house and techno. Enjoy.

Webmaster Review: The introduction is immediately foot tapping. At bar 13, an atmospheric vocal and crash introduces the mellow house solo well giving a break from the beat, at bar 25 another solo melody enters. Several melodys works so well due to intelligent fades. Afterwards a build up again takes palce, starting with the bass and a drum roll, then a full accompaniment making a catchy hook. Then there is another drop of the drums with a new mellow solo that compliments the main hook when it returns after an effective bass drum roll and build but this time with the new mellow synth line, in fact by bar 79 all the elements from the rest of the track are combined very well together as what would be classed as in classical music an orchestral crescendo. The production, mixing, arrangement, use of crashes and variation is superb making a very commercial music which is definitely worth a listen. My score is 8.5 out of 10, as it is a little let down due to the full potential of the title not being explored.

Hi Nigel, the recent week is going good with music making so here is another song. This is a mellow house track. Enjoy!

Webmaster Review: An immediately catchy house melody introduces the track. A drum roll annouces more instruments including the very punchy percussion after 13 secs. The track builds and at the 27 and 34 sec positions new snares enter. At the 50-58 mark there is a slow dropping of instruments drum roll and vocal to introduce a new mellow solo melody which becomes very catchy once a very well chosen bass joins it. The melody is skillfully faded out. The vocal returns to reintroduce the original hook at 2:29 which continues to a conclusion with an extra snare and drum roll, crash combination. General structure, fx, crashes and drum rolls are all expert. Improvements would have been a louder vocal. Also had the R-Pad synth been dropped for a bar or two when the new snare entered, there would have been more variation to the mix. Also the two new snares could have taken turns instead of being played at the same time or simply varied the one on channel 10 a bit. My score is 8.5 out of 10. A very good listen.
